Karen graduated from Murray State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/English and in 1973 with a Master's degree in Counseling.  She furthered her education at Indiana University in Accounting and received her CPA certification in 1981.  Karen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA).  She has worked in public accounting since 1979 and has experience in individual and corporate financial reporting and taxation.
